Prague Airport (Václav Havel Airport) is around 30 minutes from the city centre.
There are several easy ways to travel between the two:
Taxi / Uber
The simplest option is to take a taxi or order an Uber/Bolt directly from the airport. This usually takes around 25-35 minutes, depending on traffic.
Airport Bus + Metro
If travelling from the airport, you can take Bus 59 from the airport to Nádrazí Veleslavín, where you can connect to the Metro Line A (Green Line) into the city centre.
Airport Express Bus
The Airport Express (AE) bus runs directly between the airport and Prague Main Railway Station (Hlavní nádraží), which is centrally located.
Information about travel tickets can be found here - Where can I buy a public transport ticket? | Vaclav Havel Airport Prague, Ruzyne
If you would like any help planning your route or coordinating with other guests arriving at a similar time, let us know!

Saturday – Wedding Day
The dress code for the wedding is Black Tie. Tuxedos/dinner suits and evening dresses are encouraged.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, and we truly mean that. We are simply looking forward to celebrating the weekend with the people we love most.
However, if you would like to mark the occasion with a gift, we would be incredibly grateful for a donation to Jessie’s Fund, a charity that is close to our hearts.
Jessie’s Fund helps children and young people with complex needs and serious illness to communicate, learn and express themselves through music. The charity works with schools, hospitals and hospices to provide specialist instruments, training and musical opportunities that can have a profound impact on wellbeing, confidence and connection.
Jess is proud to be a Trustee of Jessie’s Fund and has been lucky enough to see first hand the incredible impact their work has on children and families.
More info about Jessie’s Fund, including how you can donate, can be found on their website - https://jessiesfund.org.uk

Currency
Czechia uses the Czech Koruna (CZK). Cards are widely accepted in most bars, restaurants and shops, but it's worth carrying some cash for smaller places and markets.
Getting Around
Prague is a very walkable city and most of the main sights are within easy reach of each other on foot. Trams are a great option for longer journeys (a 24-hour travel ticket costs around 120 CZK).
Tipping
When in restaurants and bars, the custom is to state the total including tip out loud before paying, rather than leaving coins on the table. Around 10% is standard.
